Our respondents underlined their preference for spaces with large windows affording ample natural lighting and quality views, which can strengthen connections between indoor and outdoor. Windows can also be used to define internal spaces (e.g., glass walls in study rooms or offices.). The preference for the degree of enclosure varied based on the type of activity.
